In a twist that nobody saw coming, Cardi B’s talk of running for Congress took a serious turn this week. The stripper-turned-rapper doubled down when she took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal how she plans to tackle the Second Amendment once she gets in office. And she ended up getting a ringing endorsement from 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders!
Cardi B Is Coming For Your Guns
Cardi B made it clear on Twitter early Tuesday morning that she isn’t a huge fan of the Second Amendment, and that she wants to place more regulations on guns.
“To join the military you need proper training and follow rules right ? They do evaluation check to get in right?” she tweeted. “If you don’t qualify you get kicked out right?so if you don’t get training and don’t follow proper rules and don’t qualify to own a gun you shouldn’t have one.”

Rapper Doubles Down
This tweet came minutes after Cardi B tweeted out her overall opinion on gun regulations.
“Listen , I do believe we have the right to bare arms however I do believe in order to get a gun we should get mental check ups, proper training and a older age limit to own one,” the 26 year-old rapper said. “If the proper age limit to drinking is 21 because these kids can’t handle their liquor how can they.”

Someone should probably let Cardi B know that while drinking alcohol isn’t a constitutional right, the right to bear arms IS something that our forefathers guaranteed to all of us. The two are not the same thing at all, but then again, what more could we expect from an ex-stripper who woke up one day this week and decided it’d be fun to run for Congress?
I do feel like if I go back to school and focus up I can be part of Congress.I deadass have sooo much ideas that make sense.I just need a couple of years of school and I can shake the table .

Bernie Sanders Endorses Cardi B
One person who can’t wait to vote for Cardi B is 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who gave her a glowing endorsement this week.
“Cardi B is deeply concerned about what’s happening in the country,” Bernie told TMZ. “She knows what it’s like to live in poverty and struggle, and it would be great for her to bring that experience to politics.”
With Bernie Sanders on her side, where can Cardi B go wrong?!
It should come as no surprise to anyone that these two crazies see eye to eye.
The fact that Sanders is actually praising the political opinions of this ignorant rapper should prove once and for all that it is dangerous to let him anywhere near the White House.
The last thing any of us want is to end up with Sanders in the White House, and Cardi B in his cabinet. Now that’s a scary thought…
