Priscilla Presley’s Granddaughter Allegedly Locks Her Out Of Elvis’ Graceland Mansion

We previously reported that Priscilla Presley is contesting the will that was left by her daughter Lisa Marie after finding that she had been cut out of it. Now, sources are saying that Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough has locked her grandmother out of Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee.

Priscilla Allegedly Banned From Graceland

Daily Mail reported that a source is claiming that Priscilla has been banned from Graceland temporarily after Riley “changed the locks on the upstairs doors and archives.” 

The Graceland estate, however, is denying that Priscilla has been locked out. 

“These reports are entirely untrue,” a Graceland spokesman said. “No locks at Graceland have been changed since Lisa Marie’s passing.”

Lisa Marie died suddenly of a heart attack in January at the age of 54, and afterwards, Priscilla was livid to find out that she’d been cut out of her daughter’s will back in 2016. 

“Priscilla doesn’t want Riley solely in charge, because then she has no say. Meanwhile, Riley doesn’t want Priscilla to butt in,” a source recently told People Magazine, with another adding, “It’s a very sad situation. Riley is shocked Priscilla is contesting the amendment. They do not see eye to eye.”

Tensions Between Priscilla And Riley

The legal battle is set to go to court on April 13, and tensions have been rising in recent weeks. 

“It has been a very tense and heartbreaking few weeks for both Riley and Priscilla,” a source told Entertainment Tonight last month. “Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member. Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla aren’t communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers.”

This source went on to say that “they are both gearing up for court, Riley would prefer to settle this dispute privately.”

“She is heartbroken that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother would never want this,” the source continued. “Riley is very stressed at the moment and has been trying to keep a positive attitude and outlook ahead of her new series coming out. Her daughter and husband have been keeping her in good spirits.”

The source was referring to Riley’s upcoming miniseries “Daisy Jones & The Six,” which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. This insider concluded by saying that Priscilla believes that she “is right in her heart,” when it comes to Lisa Marie’s trust.

“She is convinced that old documents had been forged,” the source said.

Priscilla Announces Lisa Marie’s Death

It was Priscilla who announced Lisa Marie’s death hours after her passing. 

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said at the time. 

“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known,” she continued. “We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

Whether Priscilla has officially been locked out of Graceland or not, it’s clear that this family is being torn apart over money. It’s always sad to see that happen, so we can only hope that Priscilla and Riley are able to come to some sort of agreement that allows them to have a relationship as they each continue to grieve for Lisa Marie.
