The series ran from 2013 to 2017, and Netflix finally landed the rights to stream the show after all this time. Orphan Black is the recipient of several awards throughout its five seasons, and is decidedly one of the all-time best science fiction series ever.
Brimming with twists and turns, the main character, Sarah Manning, played by Tatiana Maslany, follows her character as a street-smart outsider who witnesses the suicide of a woman who looks exactly like her. When she assumes the stranger’s identity, she’s thrust into a world of scientific conspiracies and discovers she is a clone.
Throughout the series, Tatiana Maslany also plays several other distinct clones. The series also stars Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, Kevin Hanchard, Michael Mando, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Evelyne Brochu, and Ari Millen.
Now that Orphan Black is heading to Netflix, where all 50 episodes will be available to watch on September 1st, fans can dive into the world of this near-perfectly rated series. The series was met with critical acclaim throughout its run and now sits at a 93% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, alongside a 92% from the audience.

The show was so iconic that a spin-off series was later released called Orphan Black: Echoes, with Kysten Ritter as the leading cast. Sadly, it was canceled after a single season.
