On Monday, Netflix dropped the first trailer for the “woke” Colin Kaepernick series “Colin In Black & White,” which will premiere on the streaming service on October 29.

Netflix Drops Trailer For Kaepernick’s Show

“Some people play the game,” Netflix said in the caption of the trailer. “Others change it. From Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay, follow the path of one ordinary high school kid who became extraordinary. Jaden Michael stars as young Colin Kaepernick in ‘Colin in Black & White.'”

Check out the trailer for the six-part biographical drama about Kaepernick’s early years below.

The show will feature Jaden Michael portraying Kaepernick as he comes of age. Kaepernick himself acts as a narrator on the series, while Nick Offerman and Mary-Louise Parker also star as Kaepernick’s “well-meaning parents” Rick and Teresa.

Netflix And Kaepernick Address New Show

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Netflix stated that Kaepernick will “guide viewers through a robust and colorfully presented array of historical and contemporary contextual moments … tackling the obstacles of race, class and culture as the Black adopted child of a white family. You don’t know Kaepernick until you know Colin.”

Kaepernick opened up about the project last month when the first sneak peek of it came out.

“I’m excited to share this first peek into a project I co-created with the incomparable Ava DuVernay over the past couple of years,” Kaepernick said, according to Deadline. “I look forward to the world meeting the incredible Jaden Michael, a young actor who plays me during my high school years, just a kid growing up in Turlock, California, who wanted to play ball.”

Kaepernick’s History Of ‘Woke’ Activism

Kaepernick became a household name in 2016, when he began taking a knee during the national anthem before his games as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.

While Kaepernick claimed that he was doing this to protest against racial inequality in America, many saw this as a clear sign of disrespect towards the American flag and those who have fought and died for it.

Since leaving the 49ers in 2017, Kaepernick has made millions being a “woke” social justice activist, signing deals with Netflix, Nike, and more.

The left has tried to portray Kaepernick as a martyr when in reality, he’s anything but that. Instead, he’s a money-chasing opportunist who has betrayed his own country and flag just to bring himself fame and fortune.

Needless to say, we will not be tuning in to “Colin In Black & White,” and neither will the vast majority of American patriots who still love this country.
