Miranda Lambert was brought to tears when she saw a man holding a sign at her concert. While singing, “The House That Built Me,” the country star spotted a veteran who was holding a special sign.

The sign at the Hartford, CT concert read:

“3 combat tours and your voice was the last thing I listened to every night…thank you”

The soldier also must have had some dust in his eye as you can see in the video below. I think a lot of people at that concert needed some Kleenex.

Miranda had to go get a drink to compose herself so she could continue singing. You can see an extended video of the song below.

That is the sweetest thing. It is so heartwarming to see a soldier be appreciated for his sacrifices. Everyone there seemed to be celebrating this man.

Jeff Tudisca is the veteran. He did 2 tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. And he will be backstage at Miranda’s concert on Friday night!
