Meghan Markle is giving herself a big pat on the back when it comes to her own children’s book “The Bench”, going so far as to claim that it could help “model a new world.”
Her self congratulation stands in stark contrast to her critics. The Duchess seems undeterred by those citing hypocrisy given her book is about healthy father-child relationships and she herself is estranged from Thomas Markle.
I think Meghan’s treatment of her Father has been diabolical & ice cold.
However, I think Thomas now has 2 accept she does not want him in her life or that of her children. It’s cruel & unforgivable but Shes no longer the daughter he loved! https://t.co/fGI6hIGWsI via @Femail

Meghan Markle Applauds Her Own Children’s Book
“While this poem began as a love letter to my husband and son, I’m encouraged to see that its universal themes of love, representation and inclusivity are resonating with communities everywhere,” read a statement posted to Meghan and Prince Harry’s Archewell website. “In many ways, pursuing a more compassionate and equitable world begins with these core values.”
“Equally, to depict another side of masculinity — one grounded in connection, emotion, and softness — is to model a world that so many would like to see for their sons and daughters alike,” she added. “Thank you for supporting me in this special project.”

Critics Cry ‘Hypocrisy’ Over Meghan Markle’s Children’s Book Theme
“The Bench” is a children’s book that was written by Meghan, and it tells the story of a father’s relationship with his child.
Meghan has been accused of hypocrisy for writing the book, however, given the fact that she is estranged from her own father and has separated her husband from his.
“It’s very easy to talk about relationships between fathers and sons when they are two years old,” royal biographer Penny Junor told The Sun. “But problems come when the children are older — as Meghan found out with her father and Harry with Prince Charles.”
Angela Levin, who wrote a biography of Harry and personally interviewed him for it many times, feels the same way.
“Once again we have the hypocrisy of Meghan and Harry saying one thing but not doing it themselves,” she said. “I don’t know how you can write about a boy, a son or a father, when you haven’t spoken to your own father for years. It is extraordinary.”
‘The Bench’ Flops In Sales
Sales of “The Bench” have been incredibly disappointing. In fact, the children’s book failed to make the bestseller list in the United Kingdom on the first day of its release.

With her latest statement on the book, Meghan Markle’s ego is showing. She comes across as just another Hollywood narcissist who takes herself way too seriously.
Meghan can tell herself that the book will help change the world all that she wants. But how can it change the world if no one buys it?
