McHale’s Navy was a great show. It highlighted a funny side about the life of sailors during the war. When there was downtime, there were a lot of antics!
In the clip below, you see them preparing for a wedding. And they went to extreme lengths to make sure the Captain was incapacitated so he couldn’t stop the wedding.
So funny! Today, they wouldn’t allow this to be shown because they drugged the Captain. But, back then people could realize the difference between a threat and a joke.
