Things got heated on the ABC talk show “The View” once again on Thursday morning when Joy Behar went at it with her co-host Sara Haines as the women discussed what they’d be willing to forgive when it comes to their respective spouses.
But first, check out Behar having another political meltdown yesterday in the video below.

Haines And Behar Have Heated Exchange
Decider reported that Haines took the stance that while she would immediately divorce her husband if he told her that he was in love with someone else, she’d be willing to look past things like a sexual fling or an orgy because she would want to stick it out in their marriage for the sake of their children.
“I literally joked the other day — if Max came in and said he had an orgy with 40 women, I’d be like, ‘We’re gonna need to talk about this,’” she said. “My old self would say, ‘I’m out,’ but now it means so much more.”
“There are more people at stake, there are lives at stake,” Haines continued. “Is this something I can salvage? Is this a conversation, a growth moment? Can we come back from this?”
This didn’t sit well with Behar, who said she would “strangle and stab” her husband if he ever cheated on her. She’s been married to Steve Janowitz since 2011, but they were together for 29 years before that.
Behar went on to say that in the orgy scenario that Haines put forth, the couple “would not be happy and the children would feel it, anyway.”

Haines Snaps
Haines, however, continued to stand her ground.
“If there’s something you still want to fight for and work toward, I do believe there can be reconciliation that doesn’t affect the kids,” she stated.
Behar fired back by saying that “something wrong in the marriage” if the man is “falling in love with someone else,” and this was enough to make Haines snap.
“Oh my God, falling in love they’re out, Joy. Did you hear that?” she yelled, reminding Behar what she’d said minutes before. “If he drops the ‘L’ word, I’m done. Orgy and sex? Fine. Love? No.”

Behar Has ‘No Plans To Retire’
Behar, who celebrated her 80th birthday back in October, seems to be getting into more heated exchanges than ever on “The View” as of late. Despite this, she has been adamant that she has “no plans to retire.”
“I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while,” Behar told People Magazine around the time of her birthday. “I have no plans to retire.”
“It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways,” she added of the ABC talk show. “Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in daytime. Most-watched! I’m happy to be a part of it. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”
Haines is usually arguably the most even-tempered person on “The View” these days, but even she couldn’t resist getting into it with Behar today. It remains to be seen how much longer ABC executives will decide Behar is worth the trouble that seems to follow her everywhere!
