I Love Lucy

I Love Lucy is a show that stands the test of time. It’s still as funny decades later as it was when it originally aired. Lucille Ball was a comedic genius that turned everyday situations into hilarious episodes that we can watch repeatedly and continue laughing at each time. That show never gets old!

It’s hard to pick out the best clips from the show. There are so many, but here are nine that are likely to make your side hurt from laughing so hard. You’re sure to remember these!

9. Lucy Encounters Harpo Marx

Harpo Marx interrupts Lucy’s impression of him and the pair perform a hilarious mirror skit.

8. The Barbershop Quartet

Lucy tries to sing her way into a Barbershop Quartet. Singing isn’t Lucy’s strong point so Ricky and the others attempt to silence her, but she wasn’t letting that happen!

7. “We’re Having A Baby”

In one of the series most heartwarming moments, Lucy informs Ricky during his show they are having a baby. It’s a bit of a tearjerker and one that I Love Lucy fans fondly remember!

6. Lucy and Superman

Lucy can’t get Superman to make an appearance at Little Ricky’s birthday party, so she dressed up as the superhero herself. She ended up not having flying powers and got stuck on the window ledge!

5. Lucy’s Pregnancy Cravings

Like most pregnant women, Lucy had some crazy cravings. She dips a dill pickle in a papaya milkshake! Then she pours hot fudge and sardines on pistachio ice cream!

4. Too Much Yeast!

Lucy and Ethel put entirely too much yeast in their recipe. This created a big problem, but also gave us lots of laughs!

3. Dance Challenge

Lucy tries a dance challenge with Ricky. She clearly didn’t learn to dance with Fred Astaire!

2. Vitameatavegamin

Lucy’s commercial for the vitamin drink didn’t go as well as planned. She had some trouble with the script. Lucy thought it was just vitamins, but it had high alcohol content which added to her trouble with filming the commercial!

1. The Candy Factory

Lucy and Ethel get a job at a candy factory, but they have trouble keeping up with the speed of the assembly line. They didn’t want to get in trouble with their boss, so they try gobbling up the candy instead.
