The Gary Sinise Foundation is celebrating 10 years of service. In addition, they’ll be expanding to serve more veterans and first responders with post traumatic stress disorder.
Wounded Warriors have a champion in Gary Sinise. He has put his money where his mouth is. More importantly, this star shows up.
He is there to cheer on veterans and thank them for everything they have done for our country.
He has built many homes to help them adjust to the new reality after their severe injuries.

The Gary Sinise Foundation’s Decade Of Service
Sinise supports Gold Star families who have lost loved ones serving our country. He takes children who have lost a military parent to Disney World and on other trips.
His concern and appreciation is evident.
Gary Sinise also regularly attends USO events to thank and entertain those who are currently serving in the military.

He has personally been on this mission for over a quarter of a century.
The Gary Sinise Foundation now enters its second decade and the “Forest Gump” star promises this is just the tip of the iceberg of what they will do.

“We Can Always Do A Little More”
“While we can never do enough to show gratitude to our nation’s defenders, we can always do a little more,” he said.
Earlier this year, it was announced the Gary Sinise Foundation is launching a cognitive health and mental wellness network known as the Gary Sinise Foundation Avalon Network.
It provides care and support to veterans and first responders dealing with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and substance abuse.
Twenty treatment sites are being established throughout the United States. Thousands of veterans and first responders will have access.
Sinise recognizes that many wounds from war are not visible and need a completely different approach.

The Foundation has stepped up and helped countless veterans.
Sinise wants them to know they are not forgotten. He appreciates them. And, knows their service to our country matters.
The Gary Sinise Foundation promises its work is only beginning with local chapters and increased services.
