Earlier this week, we reported that the NFL had set up an unprecedented private workout session for former quarterback Colin Kaepernick in the hopes of finding him a new football team. Now, after it was confirmed that the Dallas Cowboys would be sending a representative to watch the workout, fans of the Texas team are threatening to boycott if Kaepernick is signed.
Dallas Cowboys to Send Rep to Kaepernick Workout
The NFL invited all 32 teams in the league to the workout which will be taking place in Atlanta. And, it was revealed on Tuesday that the Cowboys would indeed be sending a representative.
After speaking to another team from my last tweet, as of now, I’m told there is interest within the #Cowboys organization to send at least one representative to Colin Kaepernick’s workout, per source.

Cowboys Fans Threaten to Boycott
It didn’t take long for Dallas Cowboys fans to weigh in. Fans on social media let it be known that they will not tolerate Kaepernick being signed to the team. Here’s a sampling of recent tweets:

“You can’t call yourself America’s team and then sign someone who kneels for the National Anthem,” wrote one Twitter user who claims to have been a fan of the team since the 1970s. “If it happens, I will be a [Houston] Texans fan.”

“Long time cowboys supporter. Majority of friends I know feel the same way I do. If the Cowboys was to hire this political leftist loser I can guarantee they will loose a massive fan base including me!?!” another Twitter user commented.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett stayed coy about whether or not a representative of the team would be attending Kaepernick’s workout.
“I’m not really in-tuned to that situation very much,” Garrett said of Kaepernick. “We have personnel people who evaluate all guys who have an opportunity to hopefully help our team.”
Controversy Surrounding Kaepernick
The controversy surrounding Kaepernick stems from him taking a knee during the national anthem before his games as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers during the 2016 season. Kaepernick said he was doing this to protest against racial inequality in the United States. But, many Americans felt that he was disrespecting our flag and the men and women who have given their lives for it.
Kaepernick left the 49ers after the 2016 season, and he has not been signed by another team since. Liberals have turned him into a martyr over the past few years. They claim he has not been signed by another team because of “racism.”
Others, however, have pointed out that Kaepernick was a subpar quarterback who led the 49ers to an abysmal losing record in 2016. They have cited his lack of football talent as reason for why he has yet to find another team.

Kaepernick Hopes to Find New Team
As for Kaepernick himself, he appears to be very excited to have the chance to get what is effectively a solo audition for every team in the NFL.
“I’ve been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can’t wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday,” he said on Tuesday.
No team wants the numerous distractions that Kaepernick brings with his anti-American protests. Especially when he does not bring much football talent along with it.
We can only hope that the NFL teams do not buckle to liberal pressure by signing this disrespectful young man. Kaepernick made his bed three years ago, and now he has to lie in it.
