There have been some interesting titles lately. The reality TV shows are packed with more drama. Action and thriller shows are getting more gruesome. But one that’s blowing viewers away is this new hit show focused on a couples therapist. And thankfully, Couples Therapy season 4 is about to release! But why should you care about something like that?

Showtime’s award-winning docuseries is all set to return, starring psychologist Orna Guralnik. The series first aired in 2019 and won a Television Critics Association award for outstanding achievement in reality programming in 2021. The show follows Guralnik as she guides “couples through real-life therapy sessions,” and helps them through conflicts and breakthroughs.

Each season is dedicated to four couples who are going through their own battles. And Couples Therapy season 4 will introduce a new set of couples. This season, the couples include a polyamorour trio struggling with “power dynamics and hidden resentments,” newlyweds grappling with “religion and sex after severing tied with a dissaproving mother,” a young couple who try to live together for their child’s sake, and a man who “dissociates into multiple identities, and can’t remember fights with his partner.”

The exciting next season will be full of issues, many of them relatable to viewers, and solutions on how to work together to solve them. So, how can you watch Couples Therapy season 4? All nine episodes are available to stream on Paramount+ with Showtime now, as they were released on May 31.

So why should you watch Couples Therapy instead of another action-packed or drama-filled series? Not only does this show have an abundance of drama, but it focuses on real events with real situations that so many of us struggle with, as well as actual solutions to problems.

From financial issues to common relationship stressors, not only do couples bring up valid concerns, but Guralnik is mediating and working through these problems. This is a great watch for couples that either want tools or just want to know that they’re not alone with their struggles.
