Nike continues its celebration of unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick with its launch of a shoe honoring him and his National Anthem protest. Nike Air Force 1 is likely to infuriate patriotic Americans as it features the date he began kneeling during NFL games.
Kaepernick’s New Nike Shoe
Kaepernick’s new shoes will have a cartoon image of himself on the backs of the shoes. Additionally, 081416 is written on the bottom of the shoe. You might be asking yourself – why that number?
Well, to honor the date when the now-unemployed quarterback began his protest: August 14, 2016
Appropriately, some people will likely buy the shoe just to step in dog poop right on that date.

Kaepernick Wore Socks Depicting Cops As Pigs
Nike is obviously not concerned about the backlash. They continue to elevate a man who promotes the idea that our country is inherently racist.
The prominent sports brand doesn’t seem to take issue with the fact Kaepernick wore socks during a team practice that had pigs wearing police officer hats. What does that say about Nike’s position on America’s police officers and their safety?
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said in 2016. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
Kaepernick has firmly secured his role as a professional martyr seeking a windfall of cash.
The ex-QB made some poor choices and wasn’t performing well as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback. Kaepernick is not entitled to be signed. He would cause division among teammates and likely cause a team to lose revenue as taking a knee during the National Anthem angered countless fans who support our military and safety forces.

But, Nike is willing to pay up.
Nike Workers
Colin Kaepernick might not be getting paid by the NFL, but he certainly is cashing in by being a professional protester.
This hypocrite who yells about slavery has received a huge payday from Nike who has been accused of having employees essentially work for slave wages.
Kaepernick can’t even live by his own talking points. Like a typical liberal, he wants to create the rules for us to follow but he won’t follow them himself.
kaepernick: i don't like the betsy ross shoes bc the flag comes from a time of slavery.

Colin Kaepernick hasn’t been able to get a job in the NFL since he left the 49ers.
Actions have consequences in the real world but Nike hasn’t figured that out yet.
With this latest stunt, perhaps Nike will feel a pinch in their corporate accounts. People can only handle so much abuse.
There are plenty of other athletic shoes to purchase.
