Stephen Colbert completely skewered Hillary Clinton on her untrustworthiness. The former First lady was asked in a CBS Interview with Scott Pelley if she has always told the truth. Such a simple question and she dodged it.
PELLEY: You talk about leveling with the American people. Have you always told the truth?
CLINTON: I’ve always tried to. Always. Always.
PELLEY: Some people are gonna call that wiggle room that you just gave yourself.
CLINTON: Well, no, I’ve always tried —
PELLEY: I mean, Jimmy Carter said, “I will never lie to you.”
CLINTON: Well, but, you know, you’re asking me to say, “Have I ever?” I don’t believe I ever have. I don’t believe I ever have. I don’t believe I ever will. I’m gonna do the best I can to level with the American people.
This video would make an amazing campaign attack ad. Hillary can’t say that she is truthful. In her own words she admitted she may not be.
Stephen Colbert pointed out what we all think as we watch this video.
As Hillary is under FBI Investigation, she may be heeding her words carefully. Why can’t she say that she always tells the truth? Perhaps it’s because she doesn’t and she knows her lies will soon be exposed in court.
There is a lot of comedic material on Hillary’s campaign. Saturday Night Live has poked fun at her lack of relatability and that she feels entitled to be president.
Hillary Clinton is better (pant) suited as a punch line than as a president, particularly now that she is under FBI Investigation.
If Hillary ends up in jail, what do you think her jail house job should be?
