The Hollywood star Chris Pratt is currently promoting the final film in his Jurassic World trilogy, and he’s speaking out to reveal why he’s “sad” to see this franchise come to an end.

Pratt ‘Sacrificed A Lot’

Pratt sat down with his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard to talk about their new movie Jurassic World Dominion

“Both of us sacrificed a lot over the past eight years, blessed beyond all belief to be a part of this thing, and it’s sad,” Pratt said, according to Fox News. “You know, you put that much time, energy, effort into something, and you know it’s coming to a close. It’s like the end of a theme park ride.”

“You’re like, ‘That was amazing. Oh, it’s slowing down. We have to get off now, don’t we? Oh dang. We waited in line our life to ride this ride. Now it’s coming to a close,'” he added.

Audiences Have Yet To See Movie

Pratt went on to note that audiences have yet to see the film, as it won’t come out until June 9.

“But thankfully it’s not over yet for audiences because they’ve got it coming out this summer,” Pratt continued. “So, you can go see it and be part of the journey as well.”

While Pratt didn’t go into detail about the sacrifices he’s made for this franchise, it’s known that he’s welcomed two daughters over the past two years with his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. They just announced the birth of their second daughter this week.

“We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt,” the couple wrote on social media. “Mama and baby are doing well. We feel beyond blessed and grateful.”

Pratt And Schwarzenegger Keep Their Children’s Lives Private

Unlike many other celebrity couples, Pratt and Schwarzenegger have tried to keep their children out of the public eye.

“Obviously, I didn’t grow up with social media being a thing at all, so it’s a little bit different in that way just because I feel like we share so much in today’s world,” Schwarzenegger explained last year. “But I think one of the greatest gifts that my parents ever gave me and my siblings is the gift of privacy and having a really normal upbringing, or as normal of an upbringing as possible.”

“We had a really normal and magical childhood, and we were allowed to kind of be our own people and have our own identity and kind of choose to step into whatever form of being public we wanted to when we felt comfortable,” she continued. “That was such an incredible gift to have given us kids.”

It’s easy to fill in the blanks on what sacrifices Pratt made for this franchise. We can only hope that he gets some much-needed time off to be with his family, now that the Jurassic World trilogy is complete!
