After His Mom’s Death, ‘Cake Boss’ Makes Major Announcement!

Cake Boss Buddy Valastro lost his beloved mother Mary last month to ALS. The bakery matriarch had battled ALS for five years before passing away. Mama Mary was a staple on the show, so viewers mourned with Buddy.

After almost a month’s absence on Instagram, Buddy returned with a video announcement that seems to be in honor of his mother. Cake Boss’ Danny has had a mustache for over 30 years. But, if $25,000 can be raised for Make A Wish by August 9th, Buddy will be shaving off Danny’s facial hair.

Make A Wish turns the wishes of terminally ill children into reality. It seems like the perfect way to honor Mama Mary! And it will be fun to see what Danny looks like without a mustache!
