Irwin’s Tattoo For Grace
Recently, Bindi revealed that she had gotten a tattoo honoring Grace, explaining the special meaning behind it to her Instagram followers.
“The words I spoke to our daughter as I held her for the first time in my arms were, ‘My graceful warrior’. That’s how her name was born,” she wrote in the caption. “This is my dad’s handwriting to keep him with me, always. Our dear alligator, Daisy, is next to these words to represent our conservation work as Wildlife Warriors. And my beautiful wedding ring in bloom.”
“Validation every day of the three most important things in my life: family, purpose and unconditional love. ❤️ Since Grace’s breastfeeding journey ended, now felt like the perfect time for this empowering artwork,” Irwin concluded.

“Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior,” she said, according to People Magazine. “There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”

She Wishes Her Father Could Have Met Grace
Irwin has been open about how hard it is to know that Grace will never meet her grandfather, who died in 2006 after being stung by a stingray.
“It’s hard knowing that she’ll never get to actually meet him and it’s devastating because I’ll never get to watch their connection. But, I can not wait to be able to tell beautiful Grace all of these stories about dad, to be able to share with her what an amazing father he was,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s going to be…it’s going to be really special…It’s going to be really special for her to know him through us, to tell her about what an amazing man he was.”
Steve Irwin would undoubtedly be very proud of his daughter and her baby girl. It will certainly be fun for all of us to watch Grace grow up!
