Jack Nicholson is one of the most accomplished actors of the modern era. Prior to pursuing an acting career, Nicholson joined the Air National Guard and served from 1957-1962. Nicholson’s first success in Hollywood was earned for writing the screenplay for the movie “The Trip.” Then, Nicholson got his first big break in acting for the 1969 film “Easy Rider.” From there, Nicholson starred in other major films such as “The Shining”, “Five Easy Pieces”, and “Chinatown”, as well as dozens of other films.
