Robert Plant is a British singer who is most known as the frontman for the band Led Zeppelin. Plant’s breakthrough came in 1968 when he met Jimmy Page who was searching for a lead singer for his newly formed band. While a member of Led Zeppelin, the band stayed together from 1968-1980, releasing eight albums. Since their formal breakup, Plant and the other members of the band have briefly reunited for limited performances.
