Following her quick and some would controversial loss to Germaine de Randamie at UFC Sacramento, Aspen Ladd has posted a statement.
The bantamweight prospect faced de Randamie in the headliner and was quickly dropped by the former featherweight champ. As de Randamie threw a follow-up punch, referee Herb Dean jumped in and stopped the bout at the 16-second mark. It marked the first time the 24-year-old has been defeated.
Well, since the disappointing bout, Ladd has posted this statement:
Not the result we wanted, I’ll roll with it. Respect to @IronLadyMMA she did her job, it’s all good with @HerbDeanMMA thank u to my crew #MMAGOLD pic.twitter.com/VNn75dClpV

Since Ladd never went out, and because she was on the move as the fight was stopped, there’s been no shortage of talk about whether the stoppage was premature. While this was an unfortunate setback for Ladd, it will be interesting to see who she faces next and how he rebounds from this.
