Thiago Santos continues to recover from what surgery on both of his knees, and recently he posted a statement and video which documents how much pain and suffering he’s endured.
The light-heavyweight contender fought the champ Jon Jones earlier this month at UFC 239m and lost the fight via split decision. Santos tore the meniscus and the ligaments in his left knee early on into the bout, and in addition, he also re-injured the meniscus in his right knee.
Well, Santos has reported that he underwent successful surgery to repair the injuries, and more recently he shared out the comments and video below.
It’s been 7 days since the surgeries on my knees. I must admit, these days are tough, filled with a lot of pain. I can’t sleep or eat properly due to the medications. I even fear using the bathroom because the walk there is a battle. Thank God the pain is subsiding. pic.twitter.com/2oD39DEsvN

That’s hard to watch. Here’s hoping “Marreta” recovers from all this as fast-as-possible.
