– The past 48 hours have focused heavily on Sasha Banks, as she apparently requested her WWE release. At the moment, WWE has not granted Banks’ request and instead want her to think over the decision for a few weeks before a final call is made.

Now, we are learning a bit more and it involves Bayley. When the two learned they would be dropping the Women Tag Team Championships to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35, they made several backstage scenes.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports how there were at least two incidents involving Banks & Bayley. At MetLife Stadium and the hotel where talent was staying, Banks & Bayley were seen laying on the floor making it known that they were not happy with WWE’s direction. When they won titles back at the Elimination Chamber, both were under the impression they would have a lengthy reign to build up the new belts.

Banks was not at RAW and she has been sending out cryptic messages on social media. She also unfollowed several WWE accounts on Twitter and started following All Elite Wrestling. Bayley lost to Alexa Bliss in a quick match on Monday’s show.

– There were plenty of surprises at WrestleMania 35 and they started within minutes of the main card beginning. As seen, Alexa Bliss introduced Hulk Hogan; who then cut a quick promo. While they were posing, Paul Heyman stormed to the ring and demanded Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins happen right now. The match saw Lesnar destroy Rollins before the bell. But, a low blow from Rollins and three curb stomps brought home the Universal Championship.

The original plan, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, would see the match take place later in the show. Heyman and Lesnar pushed for an earlier slot as they thought the match would be better received compared to the end of 7.5 hour show.

Lesnar was not at RAW and we are still waiting to find out his WWE future. For what it is worth, UFC President Dana White said yesterday that he has not spoken to Lesnar in sometime and the rumored Daniel Cormier fight might not happen.
