NXT Possibly Not Headed To FS1 As USA Network Makes A Move

– NXT is seemingly headed to TV and at one time, FS1 was the targeted channel. According to PWInsider, there has been major change the past 48 hours and the USA Network is now in the running.

The date and start location has not changed. WWE is looking to counter All Elite Wrestling’s TV debut on TNT, which is October 2. The show would also air from 8 to 10 PM EST, giving wrestling fans plenty of options for the evening. If NXT goes to the USA Network, they would air live out of Full Sail University.

FS1 is another Fox station and of course the major TV network will begin airing SmackDown in the fall as they are leaving the USA Network. The USA Network is available in more homes and would help WWE secure a larger number of viewers compared to FS1. Another plus, is that shows on FS1 sometimes do not air in their entirety  if a sporting event runs long. Usually, fans can then switch to FS2; but, that station has a small presence.
