Connor’s Cure is undoubtedly one of the best-known charities the WWE is running. The charity has been going strong for some years, and now the WWE is continuing the fight against pediatric cancer during pediatric cancer awareness month.

The History of Connor’s Cure

Connor’s Cure is the brainchild of Stephanie McMahon and Paul “Triple H’ Levesque, who created the charity in honor of Connor Michalek.

8-year-old Connor Michalek was a big WWE and Daniel Bryan fan, who was fighting a rare tumor called medulloblastoma. Unfortunately, Connor lost his fight in April 2014. Shortly after his death, Stephanie McMahon and Paul Levesque decided to create a charity in honor of him, more specifically Connor’s Cure fund for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

New Connor’s Cure Merchandise

If you already own the bracelet and liked Connor’s Cure merchandise last year, it is time to look out for some new merchandise that has been released in the WWE Shop.

All proceeds from Connor’s Cure merchandise sales are going to the charity. You can view some of the new merchandise during RAW and SmackDown, since some of the shirts are worn by WWE superstars. During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, you could spot Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks wearing a new shirt.

Renewing Their Partnership with the V Foundation

To ensure Connor’s Cure is becoming stronger with each passing year, the WWE has announced the renewal of their partnership with the V Foundation.

The partnership between the WWE and the V Foundation ensures that the cancer research efforts of the WWE reach further than just the children’s hospital in Pittsburgh. Through the partnership, the WWE and the V Foundation wish to expand their efforts to the rest of the world.

The Impact of Connor’s Cure

Since its creation, Connor’s Cure has aided research into pediatric cancer, but the foundation has also helped numerous families around the world. So, it is certainly a cause that is worth supporting.

What Can I Do to Support Connor’s Cure?

There are several ways for wrestling fans to support. The first way to support the cause is by buying any merchandise from the WWE Shop. Available merchandise includes the well-known Conner’s Cure bracelets, but also T-shirts! Wrestling fans also have the option to make a single donation.

During the month of September, several major WWE superstars are going to auction some of their used wrestling stuff. John Cena started the tradition on Monday Night RAW, where he put one of his Never Give Up towels up for auction. Kalisto is also joining the fray with a unique wrestling mask. The Hardyz are also putting up their gold colored belts, signed by them, for Connor’s Cure.

To check out the auctions going on at the moment, head over to the WWE auction page.
