Ever since his return, fans have wondered about Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania plans…and we might now know. Plus, one AEW star is said to be OK after a recent scary bump.
Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania Plans
It has been a big question ever since his big return-but what are Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania plans?
That is a fair question, all things considering.
When Wyatt was last seen in WWE, it was at WrestleMania.
Since then, he was fired and, when creative leadership changed, brought back.
His return, with the white rabbit teasers, was considered a big success.
So naturally, WWE has to have big WrestleMania plans for Bray Wyatt, right?
Perhaps, but probably not what you think.
I remember, upon his return, seeing fans expect that Wyatt would be the one to end Reigns’ streak.
While that might happen, if it does, it probably won’t be at WrestleMania.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the thinking is we will see Bray Wyatt take on Uncle Howdy.
This might seem to be an underwhelming match, but given the psychological nature of the entire Wyatt return so far, you can see the promise.
Of course, we’ve seen Howdy a time or two in recent weeks. Most notably, as Bray and LA Knight stared each other down, Uncle Howdy appeared.
And then gave Wyatt a Sister Abigail.
There is plenty of speculation that Howdy is, in fact, Wyatt’s real life brother, Bo Dallas.
Adding to the complexities here, Wyatt noted in a recent promo that he was Uncle Howdy.
It seems like sometime soon, we will see things escalate, and Wyatt will battle Howdy at WrestleMania.
If that is indeed the match, I have to wonder…do we have Howdy unmask before then? Or is the mask not taken off until after?
AEW Star OK After Bump
In some good news, one AEW star is reportedly OK after a scary bump last week.
The star, Anna Jay, was supposed to take a power bomb off the stage and through a table.
That did not happen, and the botch went more like this.
Hope Anna Jay is ok ?pic.twitter.com/Fnl4evzUmZ

To be fair, even if she’d gone through the table as planned, that still would be a pretty big bump.
What isn’t clear is, was this a botch by Willow Nightingale? Or did someone goof with the positioning of the table relative to the stage.
Looking at the move, and where things went, I feel like the table might have been too close.
It’s not as though Willow, while holding Anna, was leaping that far off the stage.
Based on where Willow went through the table, maybe they meant for her to release Jay from the stage?
Eventually, we may hear more about this botch. It was very clearly a scary bump, regardless of how or why it happened.
With that in mind, it’s good to learn that, per the Observer, Anna Jay is OK.
Not the first time we’ve heard AEW workers criticized for being unsafe, but hopefully it’s more a one-off.
