Corey Anderson made a successful Bellator MMA debut Thursday night, stopping Melvin Manhoef in the main event of Bellator 251.

Anderson, a former winner of The Ultimate Fighter in the UFC, earned his 14th career win with a second round stoppage.

The main card aired live on CBS Sports Network and streamed on DAZN.

In the co-main event, Tyrell Fortune bounced back, scoring a decision victory over Said Sowma.

Austin Vanderford, the husband of Paige VanZant, had no trouble handling Vinicius de Jesus, as he remained unbeaten with a convincing decision win.

Derek Anderson opened the main card by knocking out Killys Mota in round two. Anderson, who is now 17-3 with one no-contest, landed a kick just as Mota was getting off the canvas.

After going to the review, the officials rewarded Anderson with the win.

On the prelims, Georgi Karakhanyan, Julius Anglickas, Janay Harding, Ali Zebian, Jaylon Bates and Sumiko Inaba were all victorious.
