The Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and his beloved wife Sharon are so fed-up with life in Los Angeles, California that they have been eager to move back to the United Kingdom for quite some time.
Sadly, they have just announced that they’ve been forced to postpone this move because of Ozzy’s poor health.
Osbourne’s Postpone U.K. Move
Sharon revealed this on this week’s episode of “The Osbournes” podcast after a fan asked about the move.
“It just seems that every time we’re set to go something happens with Ozzy’s health, and so we’ll get there,” said Sharon, 71. “We want to go back so bad, but we’ll get there won’t we, Ozzy? We will.”
Ozzy, 75, was quick to agree.
“We’re trying to get on a flight,” he said.
Ever since a nasty fall in his home back in November of 2019, Ozzy has had to undergo multiple surgeries. He’s also living with Parkinson’s disease, and is still grappling with injuries that he suffered in an ATV accident 20 years ago.
Ozzy opened up about this when another listener asked what he and his family miss the most in life.
“When you lose your health, nothing else [expletive] matters,” he said.

Sharon Misses ‘Tradition’ Of Royal Family
As for Sharon, she misses England, especially what the British royal family used to be like.
“I miss all that tradition terribly,” she lamented.
“I think the queen is greatly missed now,” Ozzy stated in response. “She kind of held the family together.”
This was a reference to Queen Elizabeth, who died in September of 2022 at the age of 96. This came after a record-breaking 70 years on the British throne.
“I mean, if you’re on the throne for over 70 years,” continued Sharon, who got to meet the Queen three times during her life.
The Osbournes’ British Estate
Sharon and Ozzy’s 39 year-old daughter Kelly chimed in to say that she misses her family’s estate in Buckinghamshire known as Welders House.
“I love Welders. It’s my favorite place in the world to be,” she explained, with Sharon adding, “It’s the only place where I feel at peace.”
The Osbourne family’s frustrations with life in Los Angeles these days only makes them miss Welders House even more.
“L.A. used to be nice,” said Jack Osbourne, 38. Sharon agreed, saying, “Yeah, it did used to be friendly, nice.”
“Clean,” Jack continued.
Despite living in the U.S. for decades, Sharon still sees herself as a Brit at heart.
“I love this country,” Sharon said. “This country has been so good to us, but I still consider myself very English.”

Sharon Is ‘Uncomfortable’ Living In L.A.
In November of last year, Sharon revealed that she is “uncomfortable” living in Los Angeles largely because of the paparazzi.
“Where we live in the countryside [in England], it’s not full of paps,” she explained at the time.
Ozzy’s medical issues has only made these frustrations worse.
“It’s very frustrating for [Ozzy] when he goes out and when he goes for a walk being followed by paps. In the pictures, he doesn’t look his best and then they say ‘how frail’ he looks and [speculate over] how long has he got to go,” Sharon said. “You lose your dignity somehow.”
“England has always been home,” she continued. Sharon added that she doesn’t feel “very American. I just feel more at home [in England]. I miss the culture; the lifestyle.”
It’s sad to see that Ozzy is struggling so much medically that he can’t return to the home country that he loves. Please join us in saying a prayer for him!
