Called Lainey Wilson: Tough as Nails, the exhibit will showcase Wilson’s early years as a child in Baskin, LA. It will feature artifacts like the first Western saddle she used as a young girl and the program from her kindergarten graduation, where she sang Bob Carlisle’s Butterfly Kisses.

Even at a young age, Wilson was focused on her goal of pursuing a career in country music and performance.
Kyle Young, chief executive officer of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, talked about the superstar, saying, “From a young age, Lainey Wilson had an unwavering vision and faith in herself. This exhibit will examine the seeds of her career, including the requisite talent, hard work, and ingenuity throughout her ten-year journey in Nashville that fueled her emergence as a globally popular and beloved artist.”
Items in the exhibit will showcase her dedication and hard work that helped her achieve this position, including iconic awards show and event outfits, plus hats and fringed jackets.

Wilson commented on the upcoming exhibit, saying, “It’s a dream come true to have my own exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and such an incredible honor to be included next to so many of my heroes and legendary artists.”
“These past few years have been a complete whirlwind,” she adds. “It’s going to be really amazing to see the whole journey captured in the exhibit, along with some special items from growing up in Louisiana.”
Lainey Wilon’s exhibit will be open from July 18, 2025, to June 18, 2026, and admission will be included in the cost of a museum ticket.
