sodium metal, potassium metal, bullets

Science wasn’t my favorite subject in school, but Youtuber Backyard Scientist sure got me interested in his experiment using a gun.

He made liquid metal bullets made from sodium and potassium, then he fired them into a fish tank. He had a camera set up so he could compare how each type of bullet reacted when it hit the water. Then he compared their impact to a lead bullet.

This is a great way to teach science. If my Chemistry teacher had used ammo, I would have paid attention!

Please share this if you think it’s pretty cool!
