Tim Tebow is always looking for ways to inspire and encourage others. Recently, the Heisman trophy winner turned professional baseball player shared an Instagram video that hits you right in the feelings.

Tebow’s friend Chris Norton had a spinal cord injury during a college football game about eight years ago. He has been using a wheelchair ever since, as doctors only gave him a 3 percent chance of ever gaining feeling or movement below his neck.

Norton made it his mission to be able to walk his bride Emily down the aisle at their wedding. This was a lofty goal considering the physical challenges he endured from his massive injury. But, he clearly put his all into it. He planned and worked for months to be able to walk his new wife down the aisle.

During their April wedding, Emily helped Chris out of his wheelchair and together they walked as man and wife. This brought many of their wedding guests to tears as they understood the importance and the perseverance it took to accomplish this.

Tebow shared the video of his friend’s Jupiter, Florida wedding and got quite a reaction. Several thousand people commented on the post.

“I wanted to give a special shoutout to my friend of the last 7 years, @chrisanorton16, for his incredible fight & determination to walk his fiancé down the aisle. You are a fighter and a hero. God bless you brother, you did it!,” the Heisman Trophy winner wrote when he posted the emotional video below.

What an amazing wedding gift. Chris only had a 3 percent chance of getting movement or even feeling below the neck back, yet here he was walking down the aisle with his brand new bride. Miracles do happen! This is what joy looks like!

Share this to wish these newlyweds well and inspire your friends and family to persevere!
