It’s been a tough year for the National Football League. With dozens of players disrespecting our country and refusing to stand for the National Anthem, the fans have had enough.

Attendance at NFL games is down and fans are boycotting the league by turning off their televisions on Sunday afternoon. Things have gotten so bad for the league that fights between players have become commonplace, making the NFL no different than UFC.

During last Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars, multiple vicious fights broke out, one involving a Seattle Seahawks player nearly attacking a fan after being hit with debris.

The Jaguars won the game 30-24, and in the final minutes, the game devolved into a shoving match, starting with the Seahawks defenders attacking the line of scrimmage as Jacksonville sealed their victory.

Apparently, this fight occurred after Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett dove at the legs of a Jaguars player, and after trying to get up, the Jaguars player was shoved to the ground by another Seakawk.

This didn’t sit well with the Jaguars and a fight ensued and Seahawks’ Sheldon Richardson ended up being ejected from the game. Things continued to escalate after another Seahawk, Quinton Jefferson, was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct after nearly attacking a fan who tried to hit him with an unknown object:

While NFL games can get heated, the multiple fights that took place on Sunday show how much the NFL has deteriorated in recent weeks. Players’ disrespect for the flag and themselves have become clear, and these recent fights show that the league is out-of-control.

Fans don’t want to witness such violence and will likely continue to boycott the NFL unless things improve.
