Krasinski is Back Behind the Scenes

Krasinski starred in the first film in the franchise alongside his wife, Emily Blunt. Now, he returns to the franchise behind the scenes, pulling the strings both on the script and the screen.

Past Work on and Behind the Screen

Krasinski directed the first two films of the Quiet Place franchise. Michael Sarnoski directed the most recent addition to the franchise in 2024, a spin-off titled A Quiet Place: Day One.

Other recent directing credits for Krasinski include IF for Paramount; however, the film did not perform successfully at the box office.

He started his acting career on the NBC sitcom The Office, later starring in the Amazon Prime series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and films like It’s Complicated, Promised Land, and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

You can watch his most recent appearance on Apple TV+, starring alongside Natalie Portman in Fountain of Youth.

What We Know About A Quiet Place Part 3

Unfortunately, there is not much information yet about A Quiet Place Part 3. The story for the film is under wraps. If it’s anything like past films in the franchise, there will be alien creatures with incredible hearing, and human beings who must quietly traverse the Earth so as not to get killed. The cast has not been announced either, so it’s unclear if Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds will return.

Paramount Pictures will premiere A Quiet Place Part 3 in theaters on July 9th, 2027.

Behind the Scenes

As of now, two production companies are attached to the project. This includes Krasinski and Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions and Platinum Dunes. Sunday Night Productions has a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures.
