Friendship is now available to stream.
You can rent or buy the film on Prime Video, Apple TV, or other video-on-demand platforms. On Prime Video, the film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.
While you don’t need to be a paid Prime Member to buy the film, you will need at least a free membership to get back to the movie whenever you want.
Note that Prime Video rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on the title.
What is Friendship About?
The A24 film follows Craig, a suburban, socially awkward dad who falls hard (in friendship-love) with his new neighbor, TV weatherman Austin Carmichael. Austin is initially warm and welcoming, but Craig’s attempt at making a new friend results in Austin rejecting his overbearing and awkward friendship. This drives Craig into a tirade of destruction in his life and family, which has the power to ruin both their lives.
It’s a great film for fans of Robinson or those looking for a post-Father’s Day film.

Success at the Box Office

When Will Friendship Be Released on DVD?
Friendship is also scheduled to release on DVD and Blu-ray, starting at $15 at Walmart.
While A24 has not released a physical release date yet, you can preorder either version of the film. Once you preorder from Walmart, the store will send an email notification when your disc is ready to be shipped to your home.
