About Heidi Fleiss

Heidi Fleiss was prominent in the 1990s when she was caught running a high-profile prostitution ring that catered to the rich and powerful within Los Angeles and Hollywood. Everything fell apart in 1993, though, when Fleiss was arrested and charged with multiple counts and later sentenced to prison.

The film will follow her days leading up to her trial, as Fleiss travels through Los Angeles using her connections to try to manipulate and blackmail her way out of the charges. Ambitious young writer Jaclyn will assist her.

Aubrey Plaza will play Fleiss in the film, with other casting choices yet to be announced.

Behind the Scenes

This will be the directorial debut of Leah Rachel, the creator of the Netflix series Chambers. Rachel, Travis Jackson, and Rachel Sennott, known for her roles in Shiva Baby and Bottoms, wrote the script for the film. Jessamine Burgum and Kara Durrett will produce for Pinky Promise, with Plaza also producing for Evil Hag.

Production for the film will take place in Los Angeles this year, with Djinous Rowling casting key roles for the film.
