Royals Roll Out The Red Carpet For Meghan Markle’s First Royal Birthday

The Royal Family made sure that Meghan Markle felt special on her first birthday as a member of the family. The Royals have rallied around the Duchess of Sussex as her father has waged a media war on her.

Meghan shares a birthday with the Queen Mum, so this day was already special for Queen Elizabeth. Meghan shares a special relationship with the Queen already. They both love dogs and appear to have fun together, but the fact that the newest Royal has the same birthday as the Queen’s mother has to endear her even more.

Prince Charles and Camilla also tweeted birthday wishes for their new daughter-in-law. It included a picture of them with Meghan at her first event as a Royal, just three days after her fairy tale wedding to Prince Harry. Prince Charles has welcomed the American into the family with open arms, even walking her down the aisle after her dad bailed on her.

The day wasn’t all about Meghan as the newlyweds attended the wedding of one of Prince Harry’s best friends. Meghan looked stunning in a black and white dress as she celebrated her 37th birthday.

Noticeably absent on Meghan’s birthday were her father and siblings who have caused her so much trouble in the media. Now, it is being reported that Meghan is planning a secret trip to the United States to try to smooth things over with her chatty father.
