In a new short teaser video, it’s revealed that the next installment will be called Focker In-Law, and confirms that it will have a star-studded cast, including returning members and new additions. This is exciting news for fans, as it is the first entry since Little Fockers, which was released in 2010. The film is supposedly coming Thanksgiving 2026.
The franchise has been around since 2000 with the initial movie, Meet the Parents, which follows a Chicago male nurse and chronic underachiever, Greg Focker, who meets his girlfriend’s parents in hopes of impressing them before proposing. But of course, nothing is as simple as it seems.
But what can you expect from the fourth installment? Unfortunately, the plot behind Focker In-Law is being kept under wraps. After the first movie, the two sequels explored the chaos that followed the first movie, cementing the franchise as a comedic legacy. But after so many years from the third to the fourth, there might be some big changes to the story.
The only hint we have is De Niro’s impression after he read the screenplay, saying “The script is really fun,” and “I’m looking forward to it”.

The returning members to Focker In-Law include Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner. The newest addition is Ariana Grande, the iconic singer, songwriter, and actress. While she’s known for her hit songs like “Thank U, Next” and “No Tears Left to Cry”, she’s also known for her performances in Wicked (2024), Don’t Look Up (2021), and her childhood role in Victorious and Sam & Cat.
Keep checking back for more information on the fourth installment of Meet the Parents, Focker In-Law.
