Robert Kraft has been the owner of the New England Patriots for over 20 years.
Many people don’t know, however, that he’s personal friends with Donald Trump.
Now that the Patriots are once again in the Super Bowl, and Donald Trump now sits in the White House, Kraft is facing a ton of pressure from liberals to disavow his friendship with the president.
But being the owner of a multi-championship team has taught Kraft a lesson: Never back down. In an interview with the New York Daily News, Kraft revealed why he’ll always keep his friendship with President Trump:
“When Myra died, Melania and Donald came up to the funeral in our synagogue, then they came for memorial week to visit with me. Then he called me once a week for the whole year, the most depressing year of my life when I was down and out. He called me every week to see how I was doing, invited me to things, tried to lift my spirits.”
Wow. Donald Trump truly is a first-class type of guy. He didn’t have to go out of his way to wish Kraft well, but he did it anyway.
A true gentleman! Make sure you watch this report to learn more about why Kraft stands behind our president:
