A Massachusetts couple were driving from Florida back home to Massachusetts and stopped to get gas in Virginia when a black woman hit their boat with a hammer and left the man bloodied. She was screaming things about “fancy” white people.
The Massachusetts man, Bob, said that Angela Jones had a message for him about his “fancy car and fancy boat.” She then got a hammer out of her car and started hitting the boat.
When Bob’s wife Kathy returned from the restroom, she found her husband with a bloodied face. Angela Jones then allegedly spat in her face.
Another customer snapped a picture of Jones’s license plate before she drove off. The New Jersey woman has now been arrested and charged with malicious wounding, assault, and destruction of property for her actions in Virginia.

This sure sounds like a hate crime. If the races were reversed and those racial remarks were made, it’s likely it would be a hate crime. Hate isn’t just a one-way street!
