Training For Days
Baby and Johnny practiced intensely for the big dance routine at the end of the summer! In this photo, Baby can be seen resting on a bridge after yet another exhausting practice session. The steps leading up to the dance studio were an iconic part of “Dirty Dancing” and are one of the most memorable locations in the film. As you can see, the steps in the movie were inspired by real-life steps that have since been repaired in Lake Lure, North Carolina.
