The name of the legendary Steve Irwin conjures tons of memories for fans, whether it was Steve wrestling with crocs or happily playing with monkeys.
For his adoring family, it’s much the same. So much so, that Steve’s loving widow Terri says she’ll never date again.

Terri Irwin Will Never Date Again
Many remember that Steve Irwin – the famed “Crocodile Hunter” – was tragically killed in 2006 when a stingray managed to pierce his heart. It was shocking at the time, and worldwide support poured out for our favorite Aussie.
But to his family, it was obviously much more of a gut punch than it was for mere TV fans.
Steve’s widow, Terri, talked to Us Weekly on the eve of the Steve Irwin Gala, an annual event that takes place in both Brisbane and Las Vegas to raise money for conservation.
About the topic of finding love again, Terri was adamant that she already “found her happily ever after.”
If that isn’t the sweetest darn thing you’ll read all day…
“I totally got my happily ever after. And while there are a lot of wonderful men in the world, can you see another Steve Irwin? I just can’t. I’d be like, ‘I love that you’re a librarian and the Dewey Decimal System is cool, but I got to go jump a crocodile and do that.’ Forget that,” she said.
And now you know why Steve and Terri fell in love in the first place!

The Irwin Family Loves Nature And Dad
The Irwin troupe would sometimes join Steve on some of his adventures, and it’s clear they love nature every bit as much as their old man did.
Viewers and fans of the show especially loved adorable Bindi Irwin, who now has a family of her own.
Back in 2022, Bindi got a tattoo in honor of her daughter Grace, which featured her father’s handwriting. She further honored her famed father by giving Grace a middle name worthy of the Croc Hunter himself.
“Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior,” she said, according to People Magazine. “There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
We can probably all agree that this is a truly loving family, and all families should aspire to be this close!
