2026 is officially here, and we’re not the only ones hoping for a better year. Kim Kardashian revealed she feels ‘defeated’ over this year, and that it’s been the worst year for her yet. An insider has even given details about what’s been going on for the reality star.
“Kim cannot wait for the new year, because this has been one of her worst, if not the worst,” an insider told Daily Mail on Thursday. “It has been so trying that she does not know what she will do if 2026 is worse.”
The Kardashian has had several struggles this year, to say the least. Especially when it comes to her bar exams, which she has failed numerous times. The insider also spoke up about her challenges with raising her four children with ex-husband Kanye West.
“Being a mom is tough. She loves her kids, but along with the rest of her life being so busy, it has been a struggle while dealing with everything else in her personal life,” the source shared. “It’s tough co-parenting with Kanye.”
Along with her career challenges, Kim Kardashian has been feeling defeated about her love life as well. Though she’s been through a handful of romances since divorcing the Grammy winner in 2022, the source said the Kardashian “doesn’t know if she will ever have time to have another serious relationship in her life.”
“She would love to find love again, but what this year has shown her is that you can’t have it all,” the insider said, who has been linked to Pete Davidson, Odell Beckham Jr., and Tom Brady since her divorce.
Sources say that she’s thrown herself into her work to avoid dwelling on her love life. “She’s been through a lot this year. Her family tells her that all these trials are part of God’s plan and that she’ll come out stronger, but it’s hard for her to believe.”
