Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are stepping into the romantic comedy. The two star in the A24 film, The Drama, have officially gotten a release date for North America.

What is The Drama About?
As of now, we don’t have an official logline for the film. A24 is keeping the plot details under wraps, but we do have some information.
The film is supposedly following a couple whose romance encounters unexpected hurdles ahead of their big day.
Premiere Date
The film is premiering on April 3rd, 2026, the same weekend as the next Super Mario Bros movie.
Cast Members
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson aren’t the only ones in this film. The cast also includes Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, and Hailey Gates.
Behind the Scenes
Kristoffer Borgli is the director and writer of the film. It’s his second with A24, with the first being the surreal black comedy Dream Scenario in 2023.
The film did well during the festival season and in theaters, earning Nicholas Cage a Golden Globe nomination for best actor in a motion picture comedy or musical.
Along with Borgli, there are several other team members on the project. Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen represent Square Peg, Borgli and Tyler Campellone represent Dilemma Films, all in collaboration with A24.
This is yet another collaboration between Square Peg and A24, who share titles such as Dream Scenario, Death of a Unicorn, Hereditary, Midsommar, Beau is Afraid, and Eddington.

They will also both appear in Dune: Part Three. This will be Zendaya’s third appearance in the franchise, with Pattinson joining for the first time.
