Whoopi Goldberg has been making headlines as of late with her increasingly bizarre behavior on The View. Things got weird on the ABC talk show once again on Monday morning, when Goldberg outrageously mocked “white guys” in a truly bizarre rant.
Goldberg Mocks ‘White Guys’
Goldberg, 70, celebrated Martin Luther King Day this week by slamming recent comments that President Donald Trump made about that the Civil Rights Act. She specifically took issue with Trump arguing that the 1960s measure led to “reverse discrimination” for white men.
“In a recent interview with The New York Times you-know-who claims that there’s a downside to the Civil Rights Act,” Goldberg began. “He says, and I quote, ‘White people were very badly treated, where they did extremely well and they were not invited to go into a university or a college.'”
“And under his administration the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says there could be reparations for this discrimination,” she continued.
Goldberg condescendingly started laughing at this before playing video of the EEOC chair encouraging white men to sue for “DEI-related discrimination.”
That’s when Goldberg took on a truly mocking tone as she embarked on yet another one of her deranged rants.
“So this is my question: when did it all go downhill for white guys?” Goldberg sarcastically asked. “I mean, okay, so like, I know that in 1955 when I was born, Black folks didn’t have the full vote in the United States. Black folks couldn’t really go to colleges without a big old hassle. So what was the problem then?”
“I remember when women tried to get into these colleges,” she claimed. “I remember when women had to fight to have the jobs that broke the glass ceilings. These were women. Okay? Just women. And now you want me to cry for the white guys who have always had, it seemed — it seemed — many more advantages. They could go and get a bank loan. My mom couldn’t do that.”

Goldberg’s Previous Controversies
This is far from the first time that Goldberg has stuck her foot in her mouth with a racial rant on The View.
Back in 2022, she was suspended for two weeks after claiming that the Holocaust, in which around six million Jews were killed by the Nazis, was “not about race.”
Relive that cringeworthy and offensive moment for yourself in the video below.
In June of 2025, Goldberg stirred up more controversy when she seemingly claimed that being black in America is worse than being a woman in Iran. She made this claim despite Iran being under a brutal dictatorship.

ABC Executives Losing ‘Patience’ With Goldberg
Insiders are claiming that all of these controversies are starting to catch up with Goldberg at ABC. Indeed, sources have claimed that Goldberg has allegedly been on thin ice with network higher-ups as of late.
Back in October, an insider claimed that ABC executives are so fed up with Goldberg’s nonsense that they are “looking hard at a refresh — maybe even a total overhaul” of The View’s panel.
“Executives are tired of cleaning up her messes,” the insider alleged. “Patience is running out.”
Goldberg has shown herself to be a true loose cannon. It’s clear that there’s no telling what bizarre and unhinged thing will come out of her mouth next.
It’s likely that Goldberg’s latest rant about “white guys” will do nothing to endear her to ABC executives who are increasingly wary of her. Only time will tell how much longer Goldberg can survive at ABC!
