On September 16, the music mogul and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, was arrested and charged with human trafficking and racketeering. Obviously, the famous man Diddy has a long history with many other famous names, and it’s becoming a problem for some of them.
One of these celebrities is Jennifer Lopez, who dated Diddy for two years. She later described their romance as being “tempestuous” and “emotionally exhausting.”
Lopez Confronted About Diddy
On Monday night, Lopez, 55, was leaving a screening of her new movie Unstoppable during the AFI Fest in Los Angeles when she stopped to sign autographs. As Lopez signed the autographs, she was approached by a woman who asked her, “JLo, do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?”
Lopez looked up towards the fan with a serious expression on her face. She then immediately stopped signing autographs and walked out the door with her security detail. Fans yelled after her “don’t leave,” but that’s exactly what she did.

Lopez And Diddy’s History
Lopez and Diddy were one of the most famous couples in the world when they dated between 1999 and 2001.
“And we broke up many times before that, and got back together and broke up again, and nobody knew about it,” Lopez later said about the relationship. “It was very tempestuous. Towards the end it was emotionally exhausting. It was good that I was young.”
Lopez and Diddy never married. However, Lopez has said that Diddy would often refer to their relationship as a marriage, asking for a “divorce” many times.
“He told me many times, ‘I want a divorce,'” Lopez said in 2001. “I would be away a lot, or he would… he couldn’t go far, whatever, but he would say, ‘So, where do I send the paper?'”
Lopez’s first husband, the actor Ojani Noa, who was married to Lopez from 1997 until 1998, has blamed Diddy for breaking up their marriage.
“When Sony came and paid her the millions she got, there was Puffy [Combs], who was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album On The 6,” said Noa, 50.
“I was in Los Angeles opening my restaurant and she was between Miami and New York working on the album,” he added.
Allegations Against Diddy
Diddy was arrested on September 16. The authorities think that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise through his businesses. These businesses include Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises, and Combs Global, among others. An unsealed indictment alleges that Diddy used “firearms, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse” to fulfill his desires.
Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn ever since his arrest. Due to the seriousness of the charges against him, Diddy has been denied bail.
If convicted on all charges, Diddy is facing a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison. Diddy has pled not guilty, and his trial date has been set for May 5.
Lopez is not known to have been named in any of the allegations against Diddy. However, her past ties to him are likely the last thing that she wants resurfacing right now.
It will certainly be interesting to see if more celebrities are implicated in Diddy’s alleged crimes!
