Last month, the music mogul and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, was arrested and charged with human trafficking and racketeering. Now, a chilling video has resurfaced in which Diddy reveals what his “last words” would be.

Diddy’s ‘Last Words’

In October of 2017, Diddy appeared in “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” on VH1. There, he sat at a table with Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, La La Anthony, and his former mentee, Usher.

The five of them played a game in which they each had to read something from a card and answer it.

“Everyone at this table has been forced to make tough decisions and today, it doesn’t get any easier,” Stewart said as the game began.

Diddy pulled a card and read the words, “When I die, I want my last words to be.”

His answer was nothing short of haunting, considering everything that has happened since.

“I did it,” Diddy said with no hesitation.

With the exception of Usher, the entire table laughed and cheered in response. Diddy then threw the card in the air as the audience joined in cheering for him.

The video has gone viral in the wake of Diddy’s arrest.

“That’s a confession,” one fan commented, with another adding, “This didn’t age well.”

“He did it alright,” a third comment read. A fourth person stated, “Welp technically he didn’t lie.”

Diddy’s Arrest

Diddy was arrested on September 16. He has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn ever since his arrest. Due to the seriousness of the charges against him, Diddy has been denied bail.

If convicted on all charges, Diddy is facing a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison. His trial date has been set for May 5.

The authorities think that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise through his businesses, including Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises, and Combs Global, among others. An unsealed indictment alleges that Diddy used “firearms, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse” to fulfill his desires.

Diddy Responds

Earlier this week, Diddy’s lawyers asked for an order “prohibiting further extrajudicial statements” from potential government witnesses and their lawyers as civil lawsuits against the music mogul stack up. Diddy has plead not guilty and continues to claim that he is innocent of all the allegations being made against him.

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” said Diddy’s lawyer Erica Wolff. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation,” she continued.

This resurfaced video serves as a reminder of just how well-connected Diddy has been in the entertainment world for years. It will certainly be interesting to see if any other famous names are implicated in the claims being made against him.
