The legendary supermodel Gisele Bündchen is pregnant with her third child. The baby will be her first with her jiu-jitsu Instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente, and comes two years after her divorce from NFL legend Tom Brady.
Gisele Is Expecting Her Third Baby
From the sounds of it, Gisele has moved on from her divorce, to say the least.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source close to Gisele told People Magazine.
Gisele, 44, has been dating Joaquim, 35, since June of last year after her divorce from Brady. Gisele and Tom are parents to Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11. Sources told TMZ that Gisele told Tom about her pregnancy with Joaquim before it leaked to the media, which had been the topic of some controversy.
Gisele is reportedly five or six months along in her pregnancy. She and Joaquim have elected to wait until the baby is born to find out its gender.
Gisele served as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 until 2006. She raised eyebrows earlier this month when she was notably absent from the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show despite a variety of past Angels’ returns. Now we know why!
Back in June of 2024, another insider said that Gisele had “blossomed” since her split from Tom.
“She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,” this source said.

Gisele And Joaquim’s Relationship
Gisele and Joaquim revealed their relationship to the world in February of 2024.
“They have been dating since June,” a source close to them said at the time. “They’re taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.”
Gisele spoke out about their relationship the next month.
“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first. It’s very different,” she told The New York Times. “It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
Gisele went on to deny that she cheated on Tom with Joaquim.
“That is a lie,” she stated. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”
Gisele is reportedly “head over heels” in love with Joaquim. This insider noted that her “friends haven’t seen her like this before.”
“Their chemistry together has always been there and they have a lot in common,” the source continued. “They’ve been in love for a while.”
Gisele’s older two children are reportedly big fans of Joaquim.
“Her kids really like him,” a source told US Weekly. This insider added that Joaquim has been “living at [Gisele’s] house in Miami for while.”

Gisele And Tom Split
Gisele and Tom announced their split after thirteen years of marriage in 2022. At the time, they said that they had “arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”
“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way,” they continued. “We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
