Last month, we reported that Vanessa Trump, the ex-girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr., is battling breast cancer. Now, insiders are saying that Trump’s boyfriend Tiger Woods is prioritizing her during this difficult time amidst his own current legal battles.
Tiger Prioritizes Vanessa
A source told People Magazine that Tiger, 50, “has been amazing during Vanessa’s recent diagnosis.” Though this has not been an easy year for Tiger, Vanessa, 48, remains his top focus.
“Vanessa’s needs and issues have taken Tiger’s thoughts outside of his own legal, medical and personal struggles, which has been good for him,” the insider continued. “He has given her a lot of love — even while away working on himself. It shows he has character.”
Vanessa announced her breast cancer diagnosis on Instagram in an emotional post.
“I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” wrote Vanessa. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
“I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me,” she continued. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
“Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express,” Vanessa concluded. “I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Tiger Returns From Rehab
Vanessa made this announcement just one day after Tiger returned to America from a six-week stint at a rehab facility in Switzerland. The golf legend went there after he was charged with DUI following a rollover car crash in Florida at the end of March. Tiger pleaded not guilty to the charges before heading to rehab.
Another source spoke out to say that both Tiger and Vanessa “are optimistic about her treatments and in the coming months battling breast cancer.”
“Like anyone diagnosed with this disease, she is anxious but also strong and eager to move beyond,” this insider added. “She is loved and receiving a great deal of support … With all of the advanced treatments and excellent healthcare facilities around her, Vanessa will continue to receive top-notch care.”
The source added that Vanessa “will face some challenges in treatment but is equipped to handle it.”
Tiger And Vanessa ‘Are In Love’
Tiger and Vanessa announced their relationship to the world in March of 2025. He shares two children with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren: daughter Sam Alexis, 18, and son Charlie Axel. Meanwhile, Vanessa is mom to five children who she shares with her ex-husband Donald Trump Jr.: Kai, 19; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
Immediately after Tiger’s return rehab, another source close to the couple insisted that the pair are still optimistic about their future together.
“Vanessa and Tiger are in love, still serious, and happy to see each other,” the insider told People. This source then said that Vanessa “is eager to help him continue with his progress and move beyond any more public scandals — which they both dislike intensely.”
