The tough luck just keeps stacking up for Meghan Markle! Indeed, after delayed projects and allegations of bullying behavior and disaster tourism on her part, Meghan has just been hit with another potential setback.
Rumors are swirling that Meghan has been “dropped” by the major Hollywood talent agency WME.
Is Meghan Out At WME?
Multiple sources told Page Six that Meghan hasn’t held any meetings with the legendary WME powerbroker Ari Emanuel since January of 2024. One of the insiders claimed that Meghan was let go by WME executives because she was “too demanding” and “difficult to work with.”
Another source alleged that Meghan had an outburst in January of last year that turned off WME executives. In this meltdown, she allegedly demanded a meeting “and expected decks and plans.” This led to a verbal altercation with Ari, who was left extremely frustrated by the situation.
“Ari was done with her,” the insider claimed.
Meghan had only been with WME since April of 2023. At the time, it was alleged that she was being looked after by WME power players Brad Slater, who represents Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Jill Smoller, who represents Meghan’s longtime friend, tennis champ Serena Williams.
While Meghan is said to be working on multiple new projects, another Hollywood source claims that WME is no longer involved.
“I don’t know what those projects are, but WME is definitely not working on Meghan’s personal business,” this source alleged.

WME Denies Dropping Markle
WME, however, has actually denied dropping Meghan. Indeed, the talent agency claims to still be working with her and her Archewell foundation.
“WME continues to represent Meghan and Archewell,” a WME rep claimed.
However, rumors have been swirling for months that Meghan is on the outs at WME. Back in September, she was noticeably absent from a glitzy party that WME threw for their clients on the rooftop at the Waldorf Astoria. A-listers like Kevin Costner and Brie Larson attended, but Meghan was nowhere to be found.
This came three days after The Hollywood Reporter ran a story that was bluntly called “Why Hollywood Keeps Quitting on Harry and Meghan.” The publication claimed that Meghan has burned so many bridges in Hollywood that she’s been labeled “Duchess Difficult.”
“Everyone’s terrified of Meghan. She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice,” a source claimed in this story. “They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.”
“She’s absolutely relentless,” the insider added. “She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears.”

Hollywood Publicist Weighs In
Afterwards, a major Hollywood publicist expressed shock to Daily Mail that WME would allow such a story to run in the first place.
“First of all, everyone industry-wide, EVERYONE reads The Hollywood Reporter,” the unnamed publicist explained. “It’s really striking that WME did not stop this running.”
“WME normally – you would think – would have been threatening and denying access to other stars. Was this done here?” the publicist continued. “The only thing the Sussexes could rally with was ‘no comment at this time’ from a spokesman.”
Perhaps WME did nothing to stop this story from running because the talent agency was already secretly done with Meghan. My guess is we will find out shortly!
