It’s been nearly one year since Rosie O’Donnell fled America and moved to Ireland. She did this in response to Donald Trump’s second presidential victory.
Now, O’Donnell is admitting that her own 12 year-old daughter, who she dragged with her to Ireland, is furious about having to flee America.
O’Donnell Sounds Off
While appearing on the Jim Acosta Show on Friday, O’Donnell whined that she’s been living in “self-imposed exile” in Ireland ever since Trump defeated Kamala Harris last year.
“My daughter is now saying, ‘Damn him. Damn Trump’ and smashing her hand on the table,” complained O’Donnell, 63.
“And she said, ‘He made us move in order for our own safety. And it’s now, he’s destroying the country,'” she added.
O’Donnell went on to claim that she did not “want to give” her obsessive defiance of Trump to her child.
“Somebody can tap me out, you know?” O’Donnell lamented. “I did 22 years. I don’t really need to do [it] anymore, and I don’t want my kid to be so affected by it.”
After O’Donnell admitted that her child has autism, host Jim Acosta alleged, “But she recognizes what’s going on.”
O’Donnell fled America back in January, days before Trump’s inauguration. She brought along her youngest child Clay, who is non-binary.

Social Media Roasts O’Donnell
Unfortunately for O’Donnell, her latest comments didn’t go over well. Indeed, she’s currently being roasted on social media big time.
“Rosie can’t even take responsibility for her own decision to move to Ireland,” one social media user commented. “Her therapist deserves hazard pay.”
“She needs to take responsibility for her parental decisions. She has free will and she used it to uproot her family in a fit of pique,” another user wrote. A third stated, “Trump didn’t make them move anywhere. Rosie O’Donnell needs to get checked out for the blatant case of TDS she has.”
Trump Mocks O’Donnell
As for Trump, he has made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t give a hoot about O’Donnell fleeing the country. In fact, he appears to think that America is better off without her.
Back in March, Trump welcomed Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin to the White House. There, they were asked about O’Donnell moving to Ireland.
“Did you know you have Rosie O’Donnell?” Trump asked Martin. “Do you know who she is?”
When Martin demurred, Trump replied, “You’re better off not knowing.”
Unsurprisingly, this was enough to send O’Donnell into a meltdown. She fired back by saying that she “felt very troubled that they put the Taoiseach (Irish prime minister) in that position and didn’t treat him with the respect that a leader of that kind deserves when he’s visiting the White House.”
“The President of the United States has it out for me and has for 20 years,” she continued, adding that Trump “sort of uses me as a punchline whenever he feels the need.”
It’s sad that O’Donnell has transferred her obsessive hatred for Trump to her young child. This just goes to show that Trump derangement syndrome is very real indeed. Here’s hoping that Rosie O’Donnell gets some treatment for it, because she desperately needs it!
