Earlier this week, we reported that the cooking sensation Rachael Ray had sparked fears for her health with a bizarre video that she posted on Mother’s Day. This came months after we reported on health concerns for Ray after she appeared to slur her words in another social media video.
Now, Ray’s friends are saying that they are “deeply concerned” for her health after seeing the 56 year-old’s appearance in her latest video.
Ray’s Friends Are ‘Deeply Concerned’ For Her
On Sunday, Ray took to Instagram to post a video tribute to her mother on Mother’s Day. In it, she lamented that she was “very, very poor” in her younger days. Fans were disturbed to see that Ray’s words sounded garbled at times. She was also seen leaning heavily on the stove in front of her as she spoke.

Now, it’s been revealed that even Ray’s own loved ones are worried about her.
“Those close to Rachael are so concerned,” an insider told Daily Mail. “She has shut people out and lives a very secluded life. She seems lost and when anyone reaches out to her she doesn’t respond.”
This source went on to reveal the “very telling” sign that has Ray’s friends the most fearful for her.
“Rachael was always so meticulous about her appearance, and it is very telling and concerning that she now just doesn’t care,” the insider explained. “It is indicative of a bigger issue.”
Another source close to Ray spoke out to say that she “has not had the easiest time” since her eponymous talk show Rachael Ray ended in 2023 after being on since 2006. This insider added that the talk show had been Ray’s “pride and joy, and it was her life for so many years,” leaving her feeling lost without it.

Previous Fears For Ray’s Health
This comes as fears have been growing for Ray’s health. This all started back in September, when she took to Instagram to post a video honoring the late singer Tony Bennett.
Fans responded by saying that Ray was “slurring” her speech in the video. Some questioned if she was drunk, while others thought she might be on a medication or suffering from a major health condition.
“Is she slurring or am I slurring,” one fan commented. Another added, “I love you but are you ok? I’m seriously concerned.”
“Rachel is in a bit of trouble?! I hope someone is just as concerned as I am?” a third fan wrote. A fourth person questioned, “What the heck is wrong with her? Messy hair, slurring words….wow just wow …”
